An Apple a Day

An Apple a Day is for someone who needs cheering up and is allowed to be a little silly about it. Snapdragons in white and soft yellow, white lisianthus, and pale yellow alstroemeria are arranged loosely around a soft butter-yellow rose, with chamomile, solidago, and seeded eucalyptus adding small yellow flecks and soft green. The palette is pale and fresh, closer to a green apple than a red one. A few stems lean, and nothing is stiff. It comes in a fluted clear vase and sits easily on a nightstand or a windowsill. No apples included, but it does the same job. Lemon leaf tucked in low frames the flowers and fills out the base.

A little care for your flowers

Trim the stems, change the water every day or two, and keep the arrangement out of direct sun and away from heaters. Top up the water often on arrangements with hydrangea. Flowers can vary slightly with the season and what is available. We keep the colors and the shape of each arrangement the same.
